Program included world premiere of Elena Kats-Chernin Without Words for cello, clarinet and piano and Chopin Cello Sonata Op. 65.

David Pereira, cello; Natsuko Yoshimoto, violin; Daniel Pikler, piano; and Alexina Hawkins, viola.

Program: Kodaly Duo for Violin and Cello, Matthew Hindson Lament for Cello and Piano, Bach Chaconne for Solo Violin, Beethoven String Trio in C minor, Schumann Piano Quartet (slow movement), Brahms Piano Quartet in G minor (slow movement).

David Pereira Cello Series 2009, Concert V

David Pereira, cello; Christina Wilson, mezzo-soprano; Alan Hicks, piano; Vernon Hill, flute; James Larsen, cello; Bernadette Morrison, cello; Will Martina, cello; Bonnie Smart, cello; Alexina Hawkins, viola; and the Thirsty Night Singers with Martin Wesley-Smith, director. 

Program includes Kats-Chernin Phoenix Story, Ravel Chansons Madécasses and Brahms Songs.

The Thirsty Night Singers, a seven-member vocal group from Kangaroo Valley directed by Martin Wesley-Smith, will perform a new work for choir and cello by Peter Wesley-Smith (words) and Martin Wesley-Smith (music).
