David Pereira, one of Australia’s most accomplished cellists, will provide sensational sounds from a wonderful old Italian cello by Guidantus dated from 1730, on our terrace overlooking the grounds of Shaw Vineyard Estate. Between 3pm and 5pm a delectable high tea with free flowing Shaw Cielo Sparkling Semillon and an Adore tea experience will be sure delight.
$75.00 per person, inclusive of high tea, unlimited sparkling, teas and cello concert.

"In which Darwin, after the voyage of the Beagle and his personal trials, experiences an epiphany that changes himself and the world forever."
Program also includes: Elena Kats-Chernin Phoenix Story for two cellos; Sergei Prokofiev Adagio, Op. 97bis (from Cinderella, Op. 87) and Heitor Villa-Lobos The Jet Whistle for flute and cello.

David Pereira's well established collaboration with Tamara Anna Cislowska brings the Chopin Piano & Cello Sonata and two late works of Liszt. Tamara will perform her own transcription of the Larghetto from Chopin's F Minor Piano Concerto. Chris Latham, Director of the Canberra International Music Festival will provide rare commentary on this music and of the impact of its composers' yearnings for homeland, and then will join us on violin to present Dvorak's Dumky Trio. These concerts will sparkle, and satisfy your need for heartfelt ‘singing’ and intellectual engagement.

Trio Empyrean, comprised of pianist Wendy Lorenz, violinist Andrew Lorenz, and cellist David Pereira, are joined by local Cootamundra talent Grace and Eunice Wong for a lovely program of works for strings and piano.
The program includes the well-loved Schubert Piano Trio No. 1 in B flat, Dohnanyi Piano Quintet No. 2 as well as works by Popper and Arnold for violin and cello.
Associate artists
Eunice Wong, viola Eunice has been awarded the AMusA diploma in both piano and flute and was selected to perform as a piano soloist in the Sydney Entertainment Centre for the Suzuki Grand Concert. She began studying the viola at the age of eleven and is currently studying under Anne-Louise Comerford.
Grace Wong, violin Grace has been awarded both the AmusA and LMusA in piano. She also plays the violin. Both Grace and Eunice have won many awards in different competitions. They enjoy playing chamber music with their siblings, giving concerts, and providing music for weddings and other functions. BUY TICKETS
